A little something about me.
I attended a school for techniques in using winter equipment in the mountains and rock climbing.
After that, I spent almost every weekend in the mountains or rock climbing.
I started working in Outdoors activities and got my mountaineering degree. It was when I got involved in mountain guiding with initiation to hiking skills and mountain gear handling.
My mountaineering curriculum was a field I was always fond of: extreme cold and mountain survivalism. I can’t say it was most of my friends’ cup of tea :).
Combining mountains with rock climbing made it evident that I should get involved in rescuing. But rescue is primarily a men’s “discipline,” and my colleagues were
But my knowledge of the mountains was better used in searching than rescuing (even if Search and Rescue go in pairs). So my mission was tracking lost and injured hikers where I could use my Red Cross – Samaritans, Rescuers, and Lifeguards knowledge and expertise.
Nowadays, I mostly enjoy climbing and hiking with friends.
I have been in the mountains almost all my life.
I love the chilly, snowy winter and the quietness in the white surroundings.
I love spring and its colorful scenery. I enjoy the summer and fall.
Every season is so different, but the feeling of happiness and calmness of the soul is what I gain from the mountains.
Rock climbing is a feeling of freedom. Climbing up is like testing my boulders and overcoming them.
When I climb, I have the feeling that I am flying! My feet don’t touch the ground, but I am still standing.
What else can I say? I am just a mountain girl. Oh, and I’m also vegan!
Updated curriculum
I followed a new path in my life when I was contacted by my previous employer in extreme outdoor activities, and he convinced me to pass my rafting guide degree. It was a strenuous program, and I had to gain weight and strength to pass the exam.
Now I’m a certified raft guide, and it’s so much fun.
I’ll share some whitewater stories as I move along.
Why trust me?
Over all these years, I’ve been using countless gear equipment, which allowed me to know the most adapted and suitable for all my outdoor activities.
Should I choose this model?
What does it offer more than this one?
What is its quality-price ratio?
So many questions we naturally ask ourselves when we are overwhelmed with choices!
My product comparisons, written independently and updated regularly, help you select the essential points to consider before buying a product.
Here, the product comparisons are intended for anyone who wants an overview of the most popular products to be able to compare the different models and guide their purchasing decision.
It is not an advertising platform. The aim is to provide tables that allow the comparison of data and characteristics of different brands’ products and to give consumers reliable information.
The reviews and comparison tables also present the evaluated products’ advantages and disadvantages.
Comparison using standardized methods
The primary method I use has focused on product comparison.
I use a participatory evaluation that considers customers who have already purchased and tested a product. These customers make a significant contribution to the overall assessment.
The evaluation is done following defined material and specific standards, according to the following criteria:
- Several reviews in the individual online stores.
- An average score of the respective online stores.
- Price/performance compared to other models in the table.
- Specifically defined factors checked by research analysis and external product tests.

My reviews and analyses are carried out in collaboration with numerous users, and I select the products I review with complete independence, without brand preferences.
Link with merchants
I evaluate the best products available on the web in each category.
The purchase links are affiliated.
It means that if you buy a product from my reviews, you won’t pay more for it, but the merchant will pay me a commission that helps finance the editorial development of OutdoorsWithNoLimits.
